6. Backstroke swimmer Maana Patel who becomes the 1st female and 3rd Indian swimmer to qualify for Tokyo 2020. Patel qualified through universality quota.

Union Commerce & Industry Minister Piyush Goyal and Minister of Information & Broadcasting Prakash Javadekar congratulated Invest India has been awarded world’s most innovative Promotion Agency 2021 by OCO Global. About Invest India Invest India is the national Investment Promotion & Facilitation Agency of India.

8. Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises has launched six Technology Innovation Platforms on July 2, 2021. These platforms were launched by Union minister of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, Prakash Javadekar, in virtual mode. These technology platforms will focus on development of technologies for globally competitive manufacturing across India.

9. The Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal has informed that the cloud-based Health Care Information Management System will be rolled out by March 2022. Delhi will be the only state in the country to have this system which will also be implemented in private hospitals as well.

10. Two Chinese astronauts made the country’s first spacewalk in 13 years outside the core module of space station Tianhe, elevating a camera and testing a 15-metre-long robotic arm.
